Who we are and what this covers

WanderWise RV Reports (“WanderWise”, “we”, “us”) operates the WanderWise website, mobile app, web portal, and affiliate program. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use these services or contact us.

For privacy questions, access requests, or concerns, contact our privacy contact at support@wanderwiservreports.com. Our Terms of Service describe the rules for using the platform.

Information we collect

  • Account and workspace information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, verification status, company details, team membership, and settings.
  • Inspection content: information you submit or generate, such as client and vehicle details, VINs, inspection notes, photos, recordings, transcripts, agreements, and reports.
  • Billing information: subscription and transaction identifiers, plan and payment status, amounts, currency, refunds, disputes, and purchase verification information from Stripe, Apple, or Google.
  • Affiliate information: partner code, account owner, accepted terms and acceptance time, referral attribution, commissions, adjustments, Stripe connected account identifiers and requirements, transfers, and bank payout status.
  • Support and technical information: messages you send us and service or security logs, which may include request time, IP address, device or browser information, and errors.

Please provide only information needed for your work and ensure you have authority to upload information about clients, team members, and other people.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide inspection and reporting tools, manage workspace access, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, send verification and service messages, diagnose problems, and maintain the service.

For affiliates, we use account and transaction information to attribute referrals, calculate recurring commissions, verify payout eligibility, reconcile refunds and disputes, prevent duplicate or fraudulent payments, maintain financial records, and show partners their earnings and payment history.

Where consent is required, we seek it for the relevant purpose. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing the feature that needs that information. We will seek further consent when required before using personal information for a materially different purpose.

Cookies and referral tracking

The web portal uses browser storage for account sessions and preferences. When you open a partner referral link, it also stores the partner code and its expiry in a first-party cookie, with browser local storage as a fallback, for up to 30 days.

The first valid referral is retained during that window. A later visit does not restart the window; a valid code deliberately entered during signup takes precedence. On successful signup, the referral is associated with your account and the temporary browser referral is cleared. The account association can remain for recurring commissions after the cookie expires.

You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. To remove the saved referral, clear both. Blocking storage, clearing it, or using another browser or device can prevent automatic attribution. These referral records support our partner program, rather than advertising profiles across unrelated websites.

Who receives information

Service providers

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, databases, storage, and backend processing; Stripe for web billing and affiliate onboarding and payments; and Twilio SendGrid for service emails. Apple and Google process purchases made through their stores.

When you use an AI feature, relevant inspection text, images, or audio may be sent to Google Gemini or OpenAI to produce the requested result, including through a fallback provider if a request fails. Avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for the task.

Payments and identity verification

Stripe collects payment details and, for affiliates, banking, identity, business, and tax information through its hosted forms. WanderWise receives account identifiers, verification requirements and status, and transaction information needed to operate the program. Full card details are not collected in our own payment forms. Stripe also handles information under its Privacy Policy.

Workspaces, reports, and referrals

Information may be available to authorized members of your workspace according to their access. People you share reports or report links with can see the shared content. Be careful where you distribute those links.

Affiliate dashboards show a referral reference, signup date, active subscription status, and related earnings. They do not show the referred customer’s name, email, payment card details, or inspection content.

Other disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, protect people and the service, investigate abuse, or establish or defend legal claims. If ownership of the business changes, information may be transferred subject to applicable privacy obligations and any notice or consent required by law.

Processing outside your country

WanderWise operates from Canada and uses providers whose systems may process or store information in the United States and other countries. Information may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of those countries. We remain responsible for information under our control and use appropriate contractual and other safeguards when arranging processing by providers.

Contact us if you would like more information about our use of service providers outside Canada.

Retention and account deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet the purposes described here, considering account activity, legal and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, disputes, and backup cycles. Inspection storage is not an indefinite archive; keep your own copies of important reports.

You can use the account deletion option in settings or contact support for help. Deleting an account does not necessarily erase every record immediately. Transaction, referral, commission, accepted terms, and dispute records may need to remain for accounting, legal obligations, outstanding payments, or fraud prevention. Backup copies may persist until their normal removal cycle.

Workspace records managed by another account owner, reports already downloaded or shared, and information held independently by payment providers may have separate retention requirements. We will explain applicable limits when responding to a deletion request.

How we protect information

We use authentication, access controls, and other reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your login, limit access to your workspace, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized activity.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can update available account details in settings and request access, corrections, deletion, or information about how we use or disclose your personal information by contacting support. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and legal exceptions may limit what we can provide or delete. We will respond within the applicable legal timeframe and explain any limits. You can raise a concern with us or the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where applicable.

The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate.

Updates and contact

We update this page when our practices change and display the effective date above. We will provide additional notice of material changes and obtain consent where required. Continued use alone does not replace consent where the law requires it.
