Compare RV Inspection Software

How WanderWise RV Reports lines up against five other tools inspectors use, on pricing, platforms, AI features and NRVIA template alignment.

There are several credible tools for writing RV inspection reports, and they are not priced or built the same way. Some charge per report, some charge a flat monthly fee, and one sells a template you buy once and run inside another company's app. The pages below put WanderWise RV Reports next to five of them using facts taken from each vendor's own website on September 11, 2026.

WanderWise RV Reports is independently developed. It is not affiliated with any of the companies on this page, and it is not affiliated with the NRVIA. Where a competitor does not advertise something, the table says so rather than claiming they cannot do it. Vendors change their pricing and features, so confirm the current details with them before you buy.

What to compare before you buy

Pricing model. Per-report pricing wins in a slow month and loses once you are busy. Work out your break-even from your own last three months rather than from a marketing page. At $12 a report, five reports is $60 and ten is $120, while a flat $49.99 a month does not move with volume. Count the reports you do not charge for as well: re-inspections after a repair, second trips for a wet roof, and rebuilt reports when a buyer changes units.

Native apps. Capture happens on a ladder, under a frame, and in a pass-through bay with wet gloves on. Check which platforms each vendor actually lists, whether that includes Android as well as iOS, and whether there is a browser portal for the office work afterwards.

AI image analysis and VIN tag scanning. These are the two capture-side features to ask every vendor about, and the table below records what each one advertises. A camera scan of the federal tag that fills VIN, GVWR, CCC, manufacture date, axle count and tire specifications removes the most commonly mistyped block in the report, and cargo carrying capacity is a number the buyer needs before they load up. See how the WanderWise feature set fits together for the detail.

Checklist depth. Ask how many inspection points ship in the default RV template and how quickly you can reshape it. A dealer pre-delivery checklist and a full buyer inspection should be separate documents, not one list with half the lines skipped. WanderWise ships more than 190 primary and 750 secondary inspection points across 15 system groups.

Scheduling and the business side. Booking, agreement contracts, payments and review requests are part of the job. If they are not in the software, they are in another subscription, and that belongs in the price comparison.

NRVIA alignment. Several vendors describe their template as designed to or with the NRVIA Standards of Practice, which run to 44 numbered sections covering exterior, utilities and appliances, interior, and motorhome chassis and engine compartment (per nrvia.org, September 2026). WanderWise takes the other route: fully customizable templates that you order to the Standards of Practice yourself.

Sample reports. Read the deliverable before you buy the software. It is the thing your client pays for, and reading two of them end to end tells you more than any feature table, including the one below. Read a WanderWise sample report and ask every vendor on your shortlist for theirs.

Scroll the table sideways on a phone. Every competitor cell comes from that vendor's own website on September 11, 2026, and the head-to-head pages below go through each one in detail.

Competitor details come from each vendor's own website as checked on September 11, 2026. Cells that say Not advertised mean the vendor does not advertise that feature; cells that say Not stated mean we could not verify it either way.
