WanderWise RV Reports was built by Jayme Schroeder, a licensed RV technician and inspector. Before writing a line of the app, Jayme ran his own RV inspection practice and hit the workflow problems most inspectors know: too much of the day spent turning field notes and photos into a report a client could actually read, long after the inspection was over. WanderWise started as a way to fix that for his own practice, and became the product other inspectors use today.
An independent company
WanderWise RV Reports was founded in 2023 and has stayed a small, independent company since. It is not affiliated with the NRVIA, the NRVTA, or any other inspection software vendor, including HomeGauge, ScribeWare, RV Scribeware, RV Pro Check, or QuickInspect. When WanderWise is mentioned alongside the NRVIA Standards of Practice elsewhere on this site, it is because inspectors use WanderWise to document SoP-aligned inspections, not because of any partnership. Any comparison you read on this site is drawn independently from public information about those companies, not from a partnership or a paid placement.
Built from the field, not a roadmap meeting
Both the iOS and Android apps are native, not a wrapped web page, because a technician standing in a wet baggage compartment does not have patience for a slow app. New features come from working inspectors, not a fixed release plan. When inspectors tell us a workflow is missing, whether it is a system group that does not fit their RV type or a report section clients keep asking about, that is what gets built next. That feedback loop is also why the feature list keeps growing instead of settling into a fixed set of tiers.
